Healthy Choice says: White meat chicken with fiesta sauce, rice, vegetables and caramel apple dessert
Abi says: After wrestling with the film cover on the dessert, my hands were redolent with the scent of caramel. I love caramel. I also love to try things that are vaguely hispanic, like me. I know it isn’t a good sign that I’m more willing to write about having caramel hands than eat this meal, but look at those pictures. You and I both know that this isn’t going to be delicious. At this point, I’m not even looking for delicious, I’m looking for something that will keep me from ordering pizza.
A Taste of Thai Peanut Noodles

A Taste of Thai says: Ready in 4 minutes. Real Thai, real easy. Mix, heat & enjoy. Microwavable container. No preservatives. No trans fats. Gluten-free. No MSG. Authentic Thai taste in just a few minutes. Enjoy real Thai cuisine anytime, anywhere. All in one container. We’ve included all the authentic ingredients and flavors. Produced in Thailand.
Abi says: While there are cooking directions on this box, there are not preparation directions, and that’s where the Peanut Noodles take the eater down the unfortunate road of reheating, mashing up chunks of coagulated coconut milk, and giving in to the eventuality of eating two servings. Two servings of gelatinous rice noodles coated in what could be crushed peanut candy.
Two servings of Peanut Noodles provide half of your saturated fat for the day. Why? Well, this meal comes with many packets. One of these is a dehydrated coconut milk foil pouch. Upon opening the packet, I mistook it for sugar. It is not sugar. It is nature’s way of killing off people who indulge in Peanut Noodles too often.
Healthy Choice Chicken Broccoli Alfredo

Healthy Choice says: Our silky Alfredo sauce is a rich blend of condensed skim milk and Parmesan cheese. We use small amount of strongly flavored Parmesan cheese to create the distinctive Italian-style flavor for fettuccini cooked al dente.
Nicole says: This dish is not all that cheesy, but the sauce is very creamy and reasonably tasty, and in generous proportion to the noodles, chicken, and broccoli. The chicken and broccoli both deliver good flavor and texture, and there’s plenty of each for the meal size. The pasta has nothing notable wrong with it, but it doesn’t stand out in any positive way, either. The serving size is larger than average, fairly satisfying. I was annoyed that I had to cook the meal 1.5 minutes longer than the box said, but it was a satisfying, yummy lunch.
Abi says: At this point I am seriously considering creating a category titled ‘Alfredo Products’.

Chris says: This is one of those meals that if you can’t stand broccoli like myself, you can take it out before you mix the pasta and the sauce. The sauce is tasteful and you get a pretty good amount of chicken. At over $4 retail it can be little expensive but if you wait until they go on sale at Giant or Safeway you can pay a little over $2 for each meal which is a great deal. The greatest part is that this meal comes with a little packet of pepper you can sprinkle on the cooked fettuccini alfredo.
Abi says: Chris doesn’t eat broccoli, so the picture doesn’t match what you actually get and the nutritional information is now a little skewed. I think that pepper packet is a neat addition. Having the following at your desk will make mealtimes a little better: salt, pepper, garlic powder, Mrs. Dash, and crushed red pepper. Those basics will kick your meals up a notch.
