I had this Saturday night and after a week of Lean Cuisine and Smart Ones it was fantastic. Low calories, low Fat, great taste considering. 22 days to go on my annual cleansing month (no alcohol, less than 1000 calories, and 20 or less grams of fat a day. Down 11 lbs with only 2 to go to my target.

wish my husband had seen this review before he bought me one of these horrid meals!

I specifically asked for the "same General Tso's stuff we always get in the freezer section" and he came home with this.

I was sorely disappointed. My chicken at least was gristle free, but the fact it was 3 measly pieces sucks. Too many vegetables that as you said taste frozen.

My husband when I told him my opinion of the meal (though thanking him for the attempt to get me something that SHOULD have been tasty) was a shrug and "sorry?"

Yeah, I'm going back to getting the frozen chicken/sauce from Walmarts freezer case, my white rice, and making it all myself. Tastes better, and I LIKE having my tongue burnt off by the spices. I didn't even need a drink of my ice cold dr pepper that I had ready and waiting for my expected lunch.

Now, I need to get some of the real stuff, in a bad, bad way. It's just made me want the good stuff more.

I just had this for lunch today, I think I confused it with another dish that had gotten a rave review, but it was the best frozen dinner I have ever had! The box said something along the lines of "now even more flavor" or something along those lines, so perhaps they saw some of the bad reviews and made some changes. The rice and veggies were cooked perfectly and although there were only three large chunks of chicken they were all white meat, tender and delicious. The sauce had a nice kick to it as well, and normally I have a hard time finding asian frozen meals with any spice. In the past when I've gotten frozen meals I would normally just eat the rice/noodles and veggies and leave the meat, since it would typically have a huge chunk of fat or nasty look about it, but I gave the meat a try and was pleasantly surprised!

I think this meal deserves another review, because it was by far the best frozen dinner I have consumed in a looong time!
