Lean Cuisine says:Grilled white meat chicken, onions, peppers, pepperocini, cheese and a cheddar cheese sauce in a soft flatbread.

Josh says: I just ate the Chicken Philly Flatbread Melt from Lean Cuisine. The picture makes it look like a pizza, but trust me, you can fold it over like a pita sandwich. I was actually impressed. The cheese tasted like cheese (unlike the Lean Cuisine Mac ‘n Cheese which is utter crap). The bread tastes like and has the texture of bread. And the chicken tastes like…well, like nothing, but two out of three ain’t bad. There’s a nice mild-medium spicy kick that I didn’t expect. All-in-all it was a pretty nice meal and I’d do it again. They only superior food I’ve had this week? Cheez-Its.

I heart the pesto chicken one the most, but the philly chicken is my No. 2.

It looks like a Gordita. Or an ultry-bready quesadilla. I’ll keep an eye out for the pesto chicken one instead. Mmmm, pesto.

I really like these new Flatbread Melts - have tried the Chicken Philly and the Pesto Chicken (which is good, but too too many sun-dried tomatos) so far…my only gripe is that they are soooo small, and I’m hungry an hour later.

I love these flatbreads. I have to say though, the Chophouse Steak one is amazing. It’s got just the right amount of everything on it. I absolutely love them and they’re perfect for me to eat at work, not too heavy and not too light.

That’s a nice review Josh. I have tried this one and really liked it.

As I was downing this delectable dish, I was thinking what would I write as a review for this? Well, my words were almost literally taken out of my mouth when I read the review up here. Spot on!

It’s a solid 4 out of 5 stars (could eek out another 1/2 star by being prepared in a toaster over, perhaps). The bread had great flavor and texture and even though it’s microwaved, it wasn’t too chewy.

Me being a red and green pepper fan I enjoyed finding something approaching slices instead of bits of pepper. Good form, Lean Cuisine!

The chicken…there was chicken in this? Yeah, that’s my way of saying it was forgettable. Made for some decent filler I suppose but the stars of the show are the bread, the peppers and….

    THE CHEESE!

Oh yeah, bay-bee! This puppy’s a P-T-Cer! Prime Time Cheeser! (no apologies to Dukie Vitale).

Definitely going to become a regular in my diet.

I was stunned how good these taste! And compared to any of the entrees, the flatbread sandwiches really do seem to fill me more. The Chicken Philly is by far my favorite. That and a salad and I’m full after lunch!
