I purchased these crisps recently and was cautious to make sure they didn't contain sulfites because of my asthma. I ate the fuji ones and they were really good. Then I read further on the packet and it says "product of china". If I saw that before I bought them I wouldn't have bought them. I do not trust any food product coming from china.

Carol is right! Good product, but why support the hateful regime in China, exploiting cheap Chinese labor? Why contribute to global warming and pollution by having your fruit transported halfway around the world in ships, trains and trucks? Why not support American farmers and food-processing plant workers (or at least farmers/workers from free nations)?

Luckily, there are many American-produced alternatives to this product available. Just search "freeze dried fruit" and you'll get a dozen. And sorry, Brothers, but one freeze dried apple chip is pretty much the same as another. Buy American! Don't buy from China!!

I loved the fruit until I read "product of China". Natural foods and made in China do not go together. I am wondering why freeze dried fruit cannot be packaged in the US - we have plenty of apples and strawberries grown here for this? Or at least from their Ecuador facility? I am sorry to say I must not purchase foods from them anymore.... :(

I have had the apple & the strawberry/banana. I like all of them. I think the problem most have with the strawberry is they are not sweet and it takes you back when you first taste them.

I love the fuji apple and asian pear ones. I haven't had the chance to try the strawberry, banana, or pineapple ones. But if the strawberry ones taste anything like the kind that come in cereal, then i probably won't like it.
