Michelina says: This authentic dish will delight the cheese lover in you with every bite. Tender rigatoni stuffed with cheese is tossed in a zippy Pomodoro sauce seasoned with crushed red pepper. Then Michelina melts a little extra cheese on top, just to make you smile. Say Pomodoro!

Josh says: This is review is short and to the point. The meal comes in a cardboard box/tray combo which can easily burn your fingers. As for the food inside, there were just seven noodles (box makes it look like there’ll be like 20 or so, but apparently that is a serving suggestion), one little slice of zuchinni, and some watery sauce. Michelina’s Stuffed Cheese Rigatoni tastes cheap, but then again, it is cheap (just $1 at Safeway). I give it 2 stars, because it’s only a dollar and doesn’t actually taste awful…but you’re also risking a hand injury.

Josh, is wrong. (I can’t tell you how satisfying that is to say. If you knew Josh, you would understand.)
Though, I’m not going to add extra ‘o’s (and I guess ‘y’s) like brytney, either.
    3 stars.
This was certainly not life changing, but it tasted good and was almost filling. The sauce was sweet, the rigitoni chessy ,and the slice of celery in the sauce improbably pleasing. For a meal on the cheap, I’d come back to it, but for a $1.50 more it’s easy to do much better.

You might be asking why the date discrepancy between the comments and the entry? Well, I made the mistake of posting two entries at once back in September. I realized my error, but not before two people left comments.

Also, Jess’s comment makes almost no sense to me, but it looks like she disagrees with Josh’s assessment of this meal.

Ahh…it’s not that bad! The serving size is a bit skimpy, but it’s a cheap meal.

What I don’t understand is why the cheese is what’s going to make me smile…but then I’m supposed to say tomato?

At least Michelina’s has a diet line now; they used to be exclusively non-diet frozen meals.

I try to pack cheap lunch to bring to work, and the stuffed cheese rigatoni is the best of its price range at $1.25. My sister and I love it SO much we have a bunch of them in our outdoor freezer. Not a huge meal but big enough if you bring a little bag of chips and a small dessert item.

I was very dissappointed with the fettecini with brocolli and chicken. I believe there were only 3 tiny pieces if chicken and the brocolli was non existent. time too get real folks.
