Abi says: There was no description included on the box, but if there had been a description, it would have read as follows:

You may be looking at this box and thinking to yourself, “This looks like the perfect amount of stromboli for two people.” If that’s what you’re thinking, you would be wrong. These strombolis, carefully selected by the Trader Joe’s team, are each 2 servings. That’s right, you overeater…there are four servings in this box. Four servings of poppyseed encrusted, remarkably bland, sauce-filled, dry-turkey-meatball containing, stromboli.”

I recently discovered your Hummus Quartet and love it. However, the info on the carton does not state how long I can keep this product (and eat it) after the sell date. It merely says “Perishable, keep refrigerated.” Please advise. The product I have is past the sell date, but tastes, smells and looks good, and being that it’s made of stuff that is not highly perishable, I should think it can be consumed “for a while” after the sell date. However, I need to know, and believe I’m entitled to know, how long is that?

A prompt response will be appreciated.

You promp attention to this query will be greatly appreciated. I have quite a bit left . . . and it tastes great . . . but I need assurance that it is okay.

    Sincerely, Signe West Gallagher
