I agree totally with the reviewer, which is why I ended up on this page in the first place (I searched for a review to see if people actually like this stuff). Someone left it out on the counter at work with a free sign, so I figured I'd try a packet. It is the weirdest tasting oatmeal I've eaten.

From the nutrition label, I don't see where it is any healthier than Quaker Oats or the store brand I usually buy.

I usually get this oatmeal for the office and I noticed that if it sits out for about half an hour bluish grey spots appear all through out the oatmeal. Any ideas why?? Weird!

I have been consistently eating this Kashi Oatmeal every morning for about 3 months, and after a routine check-up with my family doctor, found that there were problems with my liver. At first I didn't think it possible for the Kashi to have any affects, but after another month I went back to the doctor and the blood test showed that my liver was getting worse, and I had begun to feel physical pain.
I quit my morning routine of eating the Kashi Oatmeal, and within 3 days the pain was gone.
I am in medical school, so be sure that I am not someone making uneducated claims. Beware of Kashi.
