*****

Marie Callender says: I blended tender elbow macaroni with a rich, creamy cheese sauce made with real butter.

Bale says: Marie Callender’s mac and cheese is probably the best frozen mac and cheese in existence. Not only is it a very large portion (20 ounces if you eat the whole box), the texture of the noodles is very good . . . not too soft and not too hard. The best thing about this side dish as a meal is the flavor of the cheese. You couldn’t ask for anything cheesier unless you make a pan of macaroni and cheese from scratch. That’s the only thing that would give this meal a run for its money.

Honestly, I felt my lunch taking the elavator up when looking at this substance called creamy cheese sauce with macaroni.
It is beyond me how anyone could eat this, let alone rate this fife stars.

But then again, you youngsters from Washington DC apparantly have an enforced ten o’clock curfew from now on, so this ‘food’ that resembles strongly my vomit after a night out might be the least of your problems!

How about reviews of some of the the Amy’s mac n’ cheeses? They have three, I think. Regular, Soy and Rice.

This is a great site, by the way. Found it when I did a search for Amy’s Pesto Tortellini Bowl. I bought one last night and wondered if anyone had reviewed it.

SR - I’ve been hoarding the Mac and Cheese reviews for an entire two weeks of Mac and Cheese! That’s scheduled to begin in the second week of December. I’m not sure if other people like themed review festivals, but I enjoy them.

This is good but for my money, Stouffers is better.

[…] I know plenty of people (Nicole, Bale, Colleen, and George) who would gladly eat 10 ounces of macaroni and cheese in one sitting. […]

Marie Calenders mac & cheese best frozen M&C out there. Too bad you can’t buy it anywhere in the Glendale, Az. area. If I ever do find it again, I’ll stock up. 25 entrees seems about right in the freezer.
