StarKist says: Now there is a great way to enjoy the delicious taste of StarKist® tuna while you’re on-the-go. StarKist Lunch To-Go® offers the fresh taste of the StarKist Flavor Fresh Pouch® and all of the fixings for a delicious Tuna Salad.
Abi says: There is no reason to buy this. If you like tuna, just eat it at home. Unless you work by yourself, then feel free to eat this overpriced, overpackaged bundle of tuna salad ingredients in your lonely and private workplace. Just don’t allow clients to come over that day.
Pluses: Sweet pickle relish and option to go without mayo
Minuses: Low quality tuna and cat food smell
Places where you should not eat this meal: Work, School, Greyhound Bus, Amtrak, Metro (and not just because they’ll throw you on the floor and handcuff you), Doctor’s office, House Subcommittee on Immigration Reform, Airplane.
Places where you could eat this meal, but should just get the items individually and save a lot of money in the long run: Your House.
P.S. I bought a Thai Chili one too. Perhaps I am a bit too adventurous.

how bout them crackers? duzzit come with the ritz? cuz that’s like added value. or is that just a “serving suggestion” (snicker)
I too wonder about the crackers.
I always want to buy stuff like this, because things that come all wrapped up in little packages are fun Happy Meals for adults. But then I realize that’s a dumb reason to spend money, so I don’t do it.
The Starkist tuna pack comes with everything you need: crackers, mayo, relish, pouch of tuna, spoon for mixing, napkin, and a little mint. This is really more of a snack than a meal and as I noted in the review, it is not safe for work. I think I need to make a new category called NSFW.
Considering that you could get a happy hour vodka tonic for the price of two tuna meals, I recommend going with the vodka tonic.
Gotta say I disagree… Was very worried that this product would be NSFW, but it turns out that even in a small office space, it doesn’t smell, was easy enough to eat at my desk, and surprisingly tasty. The crackers are great! My only gripe is that it’s small… 3.5 oz… meaning bring a snack to go with it and create a more well-rounded lunch.
I eat Tuna Lunch To Go, chunk light, every noon and I wonder why you don’t use whole wheat ritz crackers. I am so tired of the ones you use breaking every time I try to put tuna on them. Whole wheat ritz are more sturdy and do not break and they don’t cost any more than the regular ritz. Kist a siggestion. Nancy in Calif.
I love these things! Their great to take on the go…and they are filling. Good meal or snack for those of you who are dieting. And they are not ‘ritz’ crackers..they are ’simply round’. I don’t mide paying an extra 50 cents for everything to be packaged and ready to go for me. Don’t be so cheap people.
Gotta say I like them too. But do agree that the things could be assembled in bulk @ home for *much* less money. Plus you can use something like whole wheat crackers, olive oil and relish. And get a better mint. However for convenience? I have a few stashed @ work for a quick meal when I don’t have time or money or four sight to pack a meal. They have something like 22g of protein. It’s fish, so Omega 3’s. Yes, they smell a bit, but if you mix the relish and mayo first, the smell is covered up almost immediately.
i think this snack is a great idea! i use it for lunches at work and my coworkers all loved the idea. now the whole office buys these! it’s cheap and healthier for you than fast food when you’re on the go. this is a great snack for someone who wants something quick but healthy.
