Smart Ones says: Succulent chunks of chicken bathe in an indulgent marsala sauce, accompanied by broccoli.
Carolyn says: I am writing this review and starving. While the food tasted nice, it was enough to fill me up for about half an hour. The chicken and mushrooms were tasty, the sauce plentiful, and there was lots of broccoli. But this meal lacked the things that actually fill you up, like carbohydrates. Jess had a decent suggestion of buying bread to dip in the sauce, but I should not be forced to build onto my existing frozen meal. Unless you are eating another lunch immediately after this, I would not recommend the Smart Ones Chicken Marsala.

Carbs are not what fills us up, it’s fat and protein. Althought you didn’t state the carbs in the chicken marsala I’m sure there are plenty…guessing close to 50 grams. Just for comparison, a Krispy Kreme raised glazed donut has 25.

actually, the carb content is only 10g. doesn’t seem too high at all. most of the smartones dinners that are chicken and vegetables or steak and vegetables contain about the same amount; 10g or so. the pasta dinners generally have around 30.
Taste great
