Lean cuisine says: Roasted chicken tenderloins in a garlic-rosemary sauce, spinach and brown rice.

Abi says: Responses to the scent of this meal vary. I thought it smelled like any other microwaveable entree until my coworker Jess said “Is somebody eating cereal?”. Don’t sip Diet Coke while eating this. The chemical reaction that occurs will produce a burning spinach/grain sensation. Ew. Shouldn’t Lean Cuisine assume that a lot of their patrons are going to be drinking Diet Coke? The Diet Coke test should probably be added to the production and edibility cycle of food development for any company that produces ‘diet’ foods. I am glad that I brought a bagel today, because I was unable to finish this meal. Wait, the word ‘finish’ probably implies that I ate most of it, which is not true. The most scientific way to put it is that I ’sampled’ the Lean Cuisine Rosemary Chicken. I would suggest not ever, ever sampling it in the future.

Ditto, I pitched this one FAST. The rice tasted like dirt…truly. The chicken, let’s just say it suffered the same much deserved fate.

No clue why I bought this dish – probably because it looked nice on the picture. This one was the worst I ever had from the lean cuisine meals so far

Amen! This stuff was disgusting. No wonder I was able to get it on clearance for 1.71.

Eww, is all I can say. One day after eating this meal and I’m still tasting the terrible brown rice. I drank a Coke Zero with it and am assuming I’m having the same reaction that Abi described.

Wow, I also tried this a couple of years ago and had the same experience. I was very surprised to see it still being sold in my local grocery store yesterday! Gross!

I absolutely love this! I guess I’m weird.
I’m going to reproduce the spinach rice at home. I’m used to brown rice, though. I’m sure I’m just weird since NOBODY else could stand it.

A, if you’re weird then that makes two of us. I love this one too and I think it smells lovely. Maybe they’ve changed the recipe from the time it was first reviewed. Don’t think I’ve tried it with diet coke though.

Well, I actually love this meal. I like it so much that I was looking on the internet for the rice recipe when I came across this site. This is one of my favorite Lean Cuisine meals.

I am eating this meal right now. But I am having it with water,so I do not feel any burning sensations. I think it is okay but is definitely on the bottom of the list with Lean Cuisine meals.I am able to eat all of it but I will not purchase this again. It does have a really funky almost chemical taste to me.
